Black Swan

For my first series of canvas paintings I have worked on oriental themes, a concept that had captured my interest in eastern culture through the internet. In this painting I've portrayed women along with animal to show the combination of beauty and power. Here, an Asian historic character is portrayed embracing a famous mythical creature i.e. a Black Swan. The female is the personification of a conscious self while a swan is a symbolic representation of the unforeseen.
