Description

Part of the Circle–Half Circle series, this abstract work reflects the artist’s ongoing exploration of perception.
The half circle—a recurring motif in the series—serves as a quiet metaphor for the way vision shapes our understanding of the world.
Rooted in minimal form yet layered with conceptual depth, the painting invites viewers to reflect not just on what is seen, but on the act of seeing itself.

Dr. Sonam Sikarwar

Dr. Sonam Sikarwar was born and raised in Bhopal, and her early immersion in the city’s rich cultural heritage led her to Bharat Bhavan in 2007, where her path as an abstract painter truly began. Since then, she has embarked on a relentless exploration of texture, form, and color—developing series from seed-inspired motifs to visions of our future world. A recipient of state and national awards and holder of a 2016 PhD, she now creates independently in her own workshop.
